Safety Certifications

Lumentra partners with the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to extend services offered to customers to include safety certifications.

The partnership allows UL to provide additional safety certification services to Lumentra’s existing customer base and will allow Lumentra to provide photometric testing necessary for energy efficiency programs like Energy Star to UL’s customers in Canada. This partnership will provide lighting customers of both companies the opportunity to certify their product lines for safety while simultaneously qualifying their product lines for energy efficiency programs, reducing overall time to market and increasing their competitive edge.

The entire process is seamlessly managed by Lumentra.
